Refund Policy

At Sapphire Crest Jewellers, we take pride in creating high-quality jewellery and sourcing natural Ceylon sapphires. As many of our products are custom-made or individually selected, our refund policy differs depending on the type of purchase.

Custom Jewellery

All custom jewellery is made specifically to your design and requirements. For this reason, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for custom-made jewellery due to change of mind.

Once a design has been approved and production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or modified. Any design changes requested after approval may incur additional charges.

If your jewellery arrives with a manufacturing defect or does not match the approved design, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, repair or remake the item to ensure it meets the agreed specifications.

Loose Sapphires

We want you to purchase your gemstone with confidence.

Loose natural sapphires may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The gemstone is returned in its original, unused condition.

  • Any accompanying certificates or documentation are returned with the gemstone.

  • The original invoice or proof of purchase is provided.

  • You contact us before returning the item so we can provide return instructions.

Once the returned gemstone has been inspected and approved, a refund will be processed using the original payment method.

Shipping and Return Costs

Unless the return is due to our error or a verified manufacturing defect:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges associated with returning an item.

For your protection, we recommend returning items using a tracked and fully insured courier service.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method and in the original transaction currency. Depending on exchange rate fluctuations and your payment provider, the amount received in your local currency may vary.
